APRIL 30, 2008 The Village Board of Trustees met in special session at 7:00 p.m. on April 30, 2008 with Buckley, Jacobsen, Surman, and Wenzel present. Bristol absent. The Agenda items listed thereon were sufficiently descriptive to give the public reasonable notice of the matters to be considered at the meeting. The Chair, at the beginning of the meeting, informed the public about the location of the posted current copy of the Open Meetings Act. Chairperson Wenzel named the three (3) areas where the agenda was posted as follows: Community Building, Village Clerk’s Office, and the Coop. Chairperson Wenzel called the meeting to order at 7:00 p.m. The Board discussed Chapters 1 through 3 making revisions through the Municipal Code Book. The Board discussed increasing the Trustees wages from $50 to $110 per meeting which would become effective the first meeting of December. Wenzel felt that with all the extra hours and work involved as being the Chairperson or as a Board member there should be more compensation paid for these positions. Surman objected to the increase. Special meetings will be scheduled until the completion of the Municipal Code Book. Motion by Buckley, second by Surman, to adjourn the meeting at 8:53 p.m. Voting: Ayes – 4.
