VILLAGE OF EAGLE
February 7, 2017
The Village Board of Trustees met in regular session at 7:00 p.m. on February 7, 2017 with Moore, Young, Rash, Schukei and Meier present. The Agenda items listed thereon were sufficiently descriptive to give the public reasonable notice of the matters to be considered at the meeting. The Chair, at the beginning of the meeting, informed the public about the location of the posted current copy of the Open Meetings Act. Chairperson Moore named the three (3) areas where the agenda was posted as follows: Community Building, Village Clerk’s Office, and Eagle State Bank.
Motion by Rash, second by Meier, to approve Eagle Vision’s request for 4 Individual Pool Passes for the annual Easter Egg Hunt on April 8, 2017. Voting: Ayes – 5. Motion carried.
Open Forum – Ben Glantz (Assistant Fire Chief) asked if the emergency siren will be relocated now that the former Community Center has been sold. The new property owner and Village attorney will be contacted in regards to this matter.
Motion by Rash, second by Young, to approve the Special Designated License (SDL) Application for Eagle Grocery located at 545 South 4th Street on March 24, 2017 from 12:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Voting: Ayes – 5. Motion carried.
Motion by Rash, second by Meier, to approve the Eagle Raceway Agreement with the Village of Eagle for stand-by rescue service. Voting: Ayes – 5. Motion carried.
Motion by Rash, second by Moore, to approve Hank Oetjen & Lisa Beckstead as Certification Administrators for the Nebraska Volunteer Emergency Responders Incentive Act at Eagle Fire & Rescue. Voting: Ayes – 5. Motion carried.
Motion by Meier, second by Moore, to approve minutes as typed for the previous meeting. Voting: Ayes – Schukei, Young, Meier, Moore. Rash abstained. Motion carried.
Motion by Young, second by Rash, to approve claims as presented. Voting: Ayes – 5. Motion carried.
