VILLAGE OF EAGLE
June 19, 2017
The Village Board of Trustees met in regular session at 7:00 p.m. on June 19, 2017 with Moore, Young, Rash, Schukei and Meier present. The Agenda items listed thereon were sufficiently descriptive to give the public reasonable notice of the matters to be considered at the meeting. The Chairperson, at the beginning of the meeting, informed the public about the location of the posted current copy of the Open Meetings Act. Chairperson Moore named the three (3) areas where the agenda was posted as follows: Village Clerk’s Office, Eagle Fire & Rescue Department and Eagle State Bank.
Motion by Young, second by Rash, to approve use of Village backhoe and FL70 for water wars during Eagle Days on June 24, 2017. Voting: Ayes – 5. Motion carried.
Motion by Rash, second by Meier, to approve closing Applewood Drive between David Lane and Douglas Drive on July 4, 2017 from 8:00 a.m. to midnight. Voting: Ayes – 5. Motion carried.
Motion by Rash, second by Meier, to approve closing 5th Street between ‘D’ and ‘E’ Street on July 3, 2017 from 3:00 p.m. to midnight. Voting: Ayes – 5. Motion carried.
Open Forum – Ron Schmidt (230 S. 5th St.) reported several street light outages around town. Nystrom will mark the affected street lights and contact OPPD.
Motion by Young, second by Meier, to approve Capitol City Electric’s proposal to upgrade electrical service to 200 amps at the Eagle Fire & Rescue Station in the amount of $4,303.26. Voting: Ayes – 5. Motion carried.
Motion by Meier, second by Rash, to approve minutes as typed for the previous meeting. Voting: Ayes – 5. Motion carried.
The meeting was adjourned at 7:51 p.m.
