The children got out early on Thursday due to the impending weather and then school was cancelled on Friday. As a parent it was nice that the school was so prepared Wednesday night and everyone was able to have plenty of time to make arrangements. I know there was some confusion as to what time the different schools got out. Now we know to check. The schools are all closed now for the winter break and the kids are looking forward to more snow. The sled hill by the pool has already gotten quit a bit of use. The kids will all probably be on really good behavior for the next 3 days or so!
Eagle United Methodist Church held it's Children's Program last Sunday. The pews were all full and the children did Wonderful! The adult sunday school surprised them all with gift bags and treats for the teachers! There will be a Christmas Eve candle light service at 7:00pm. Here are some of the pictures of the program...
Immanuel Lutheran Church will hold a Christmas Eve service at 7:00pm which will include their children's program. I welcome any pictures to be sent to be to be included in the next newsletter.
