Eagle Elementary celebrated Grandparents/Special Friends Day last Friday, October 23, 2009. The students were really excited to show their school off to their grandparents and to show their grandparents off to their school! Eagle did things a little differently this year by splitting the day in half. Grandparents came for students in Kindergarten through 2nd Grade from 9:15 - 12:00 and then 12:15 - 3:05 for 3rd through 5th grades.
Also, all the teachers at Eagle Elementary parked clear over at the park so that they could open more spaces up for the grandparents. This was really inconvenient for them but greatly appreciated!
